Not a lot of people know that Bundaberg is the southern most access to the Great Barrier Reef. Everyone travels all the way up to North Queensland when the most untouched part of the reef is right here, only 4 hours north of Brisbane. There are 2 reef islands to visit and you can even snorkel or dive right from our mainland beaches and see coral reefs and an abundance of marine life

10.00 am - Snake Show featuring pythons and some venomous snakes.
11.45 am - Venomous Snake Show featuring the top five most venomous snakes in the world.
12.30 pm - Salt-water croc feeding and commentary.
During the day there are two chances to hold a young salt-water croc and python (no extra charge) where you may take your own photos.
Your entry ticket includes all three shows and entry into our new Walk-through Kangaroo Reserve.

Amandine Lavender is a gift shop and farm located just around the corner from our resort. The quaint gift shop offers a range of exclusive lavender products and gifts, to calm and relax you and fragrance your home.
We are lucky enough to have some of the most untouched and private beaches on the East Coast of Australia. There are ones your can snorkel and dive from, like the beaches at Innes Park & Bargara, ones you can kite surf like Elliot Heads Beach or ones where you could have the whole beach to yourself like, Moore Park, Woodgate or Mon Repos Beach. The main beach in Bargara is patrolled every weekend and school holidays!

Only 1.25 hours drive north is the picturesque town of 1770. Which is not only the northern most surf beach on the East Coast of Australia, but one of only three places on the East Coast of Australia that a sunset is experienced over water. The only way to truly experience the magic of 1770 is aboard The LARC! This is a must do! experience for those who love nature and conservation!

Mon Repos Beach is home to Australia’s largest loggerhead turtle rookery and is just a short drive from the resort. Ranger guided night tours operate on the beach, giving you the unique opportunity to watch sea turtles nesting or hatchlings making there way to the big blue. This natural experience is one young and old will remember for a life time

Visiting the Bundaberg Rum Distillery is an experience that is enjoyed most by adults.
On the tour you will see, smell and taste your way through the rum production progress. You'll enjoy a video presentation, extensive tour, personal sampling, historical displays and opportunity to purchase merchandise and some unique souvenirs.
