The 27th annual 1770 Festival revolves around Surf, Soul & Sound experiences. The annual street parade is all about Harmony in the twin towns of 1770 and Agnes Water.
Re-enactment of Cook’s landing on Friday 24 May at 1770 Air Sea Rescue Park, the birthplace of Queensland.
Every year, the Bruce Highway closes to make way for a spectacular array of live music, international cuisine and multicultural celebration that is the Childers Festival.

Friday 16 August marks the official World Rum Day and what better way to celebrate than to spend it in the Rum Capital? Experience everything Bundaberg Rum on Friday before enjoy a weekend of free-flowing drinks, full glasses and good vibes.
Held in the picturesque Port Marina precinct, Oceanfest Bundaberg focuses on quality, local seafood, local wines, local beers, themed entertainment and a range of ocean orientated attractions, displays, demonstrations and workshops for all members of the family.
This event promotes the local, wild catch seafood, harvested from the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Bundaberg waters.
