The Southern Great Barrier Reef is part of the reef where visitors feel as if they are discovering places no one else has ever seen. Great begins with the ladies of the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Elliot Island and Lady Musgrave Island. Bundaberg is also home to Mon Repos Turtle Rookery where visitors have the opportunity to see nesting and hatching turtles from November to March. Of course lets not forget Bundaberg Rum, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, Waterview Distillery and Bargara Brewery.

The 2 coral quay islands on our shores are the ladies of the reef - Lady Elliot Island & Lady Musgrave both offering world class experiences to see the most iconic destination in the world all within a 4 hour drive of Brisbane.
The Southern Great Barrier Reef Region stretches along the first 300kms of the Great Barrier Reef and through to the hinterlands and gorges of the Sandstone Belt from Bundaberg through to Gladstone and Rockhampton.
Along with the more well know tours in Bundaberg, there is so much to see and do in our region. From a reptile park, river cruise to wineries to learning to surf. #visitbundaberg
Bargara Golf Course is one of the finest public courses you will find north of Brisbane. It is situated meters from the beach and has many exciting holes, from challenging par 3’s to long par 5’s. The course offers 18 holes of quality golf plus a new clubhouse that over looks the Pacific Ocean.
To our south is the Fraser Coast. From June to October is the magnificence of Whale season and off course Fraser Island. Only 1.5 hours drive Fraser Coast is a great stop on your way to Bundaberg and the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Only 1.5 hours drive north are these small sister towns. Surrounded by national parks, the only place along the east coast where you can see the sun set over the water and home the 1770 Larc Tours it makes for a fantastic day trip.
