A taste of Bundaberg is a taste of freshness! Bundaberg and the North Burnett grows, catches and produces some of Australia’s best and most famous food and drink. Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Ginger Beer, along with some incredible microbreweries and wineries all provide our region and the world with flavour bursting beverages.

Did you know that Bundaberg is the tomato capital of Australia? Our region also grows zucchini, squash, cucumber, capsicum, chilli, ginger, sweet potato, macadamias, strawberries, snow peas and beans all grow abundantly! Lychees and melons are summer treats and locally grown pineapples are very sweet. Many farmers have farm gates where you can buy local fresh produce right from the farmer who grows it – Trust us, you can taste the difference! Our trawlers bring in fresh seafood daily and our regions seafood is some of the best in the world.

Bundy Food Tours specialises in half day guided food and drinks tours to meet producers and taste their produce.

The Taste of Bundaberg Experiences vary in in destinations, length and cost. They are on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday and Saturday mornings. You will visit farms in different areas around Bundaberg and we add in other food related businesses such as coffee roasters, butchers, seafood markets, bakeries as well as distilleries & breweries.

Our Bundy Drinks Tour is on Saturday afternoons. We visit three local beverage producers from the iconic Bundaberg Rum to the new Bargara Brewing Company and Kalki Moon Distilling and Brewing Company.


You will be taken on a North Bundaberg tour of four farms, a butcher shop and a chocolate shop.This tour starts with a behind the scenes tour with Rick at Bundy Chop Shop. Then we travel along Moore Park Road and surrounds to meet the farmers at Rosengal Beans, Bundy Limes, Bundaberg Roses and Prichard Farms for sweet potatoes. Afternoon tea by Indulge Cafe is served at Bundy Limes showcasing the local produce. Our last stop is at Cha Cha Chocolate for all things sweet! Farms can vary depending on the season. You will explore the agricultural region of Bundaberg, meet food producers at working farms and enjoy a seafood lunch at Grunske’s by the River seafood restaurant. Starting with a behind the scenes tour at the seafood market before exploring the diversity of produce grown in the region from strawberries to ginger and passionfruit to sweet potatoes. This morning tour is packed with passion including The Pocket storehouse for sourdough, Marto Farms for zucchinis, Forbidden Figs and other produce at Redridge Produce as well as a sensational morning tea with espresso coffee roasted at Alloway Farm Market. Come along and meet our farmers as well Barking Dog Roaster Tom, Rick at Kalki Moon Distillery & Brewing Co. and the team at Bargara Brewing Co.

Unearth your passion for Bundaberg born and brewed while discovering our world of award winning alcoholic beverages. We will take you behind the scenes of the iconic Bundaberg Rum Distillery, The Brewhouse, home of Bargara Brewing Company and Kalki Moon Distilling & Brewing Company, Bundaberg’s newest award winning distillery. Whether you enjoy the science of making alcoholic drinks or just drinking you will enjoy your afternoon among distillers and brewers. This tour departs Saturdays and includes tastings along the way as well as a food and beer pairing at The Brewhouse.


$149 per person or $145 for concession card holders.

Cancellations notified in advance of 7 days prior to the tour date will receive 20% penalty of the booking cost. Cancellations notified within 7 days of the tour date will receive 50% of the booking cost except for cancellations within 48 hours of the tour date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour departure will forfeit 100% of the booking cost or receive a credit toward another tour.
