K’gari – Fraser Island

While visiting the Southern Great Barrier Reef a trip to the largest sand island in the world K’gari (Fraser Island) is a must.

K’gari is a World Heritage listed wonder of diverse landscapes and unique wildlife experiences. The island is accessible via a short 40-minute ferry ride from the mainland in Hervey Bay, 360kms north of Brisbane or a 90 minute drive from Bundaberg.

Just imagine… swimming in fresh-water lakes, bright as jewels ringed by white sandy beaches, walking through tall ancient rainforest growing in sand, four-wheel driving along a beach flanked by strikingly coloured sand cliffs to find a ship wreck.

It’s an breathtaking part of the universe and we can arrange anything from day tours to 3 night stays on the island.

Why not experience two (2) World Heritage listed areas in one trip, K’gari and the Great Barrier Reef? Check out our Fraser, Reef & Rum Package below.
