Lady Musgrave Island
Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s most iconic destinations for travellers. Yet there are still parts of the reef where visitors can feel like intrepid explorers, as if they were discovering places no one else has ever seen.
The Southern Great Barrier Reef offers visitors to Queensland, Australia the chance to see large hard coral reefs firsthand and join colourful fish and big marine life like turtles and manta rays for a dive or snorkel. At just over 4 hour drive from Brisbane, the Great Barrier Reef starts right here in Bargara.
There are 2 coral cays to choose from to get up close and personal with the 7th wonder of the natural world and experience the other universe beneath the waves, Lady Musgrave Island and Lady Elliot Island. Both Islands encounter endless varieties of colourful fish, turtles, clams, sea stars, coral, eels, dolphins, rays, whales & many more incredible creatures without the need for stinger suits!
Located 51 nautical miles from Bundaberg and the second island on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, Lady Musgrave Island and lagoon is a pristine coral cay with 1,192 hectares of spectacular fringing reef ready to be explored. The unique  lagoon is home to a myriad of tropical reef fish, turtles, dolphins and manta rays, amidst spectacular coral reef gardens. Guests can immerse themselves in this spectacular underwater world while snorkelling, diving and glass bottom boat coral viewing.
